CatContemporary

CatContemporary draws inspiration from the elegant, soft, and agile movements of cats. This workshop combines elements of contemporary dance with feline-like qualities, emphasising fluidity, grace, and control. We will use simple movement sequences which will allow us to lower ourselves to the ground, move on the ground, and rise back to a vertical position as simply as possible and with minimal effort. Through out the workshop dancers get to explore moving through space, landing lightly, and how they express themselves through movement.
